Carlos C. Aguila, Esq., Founder of Aguila Law, Miami guardianship attorney

Carlos C. Aguila, Esq.

Founder & Managing Attorney

Florida Bar No. 109634 | Member in Good Standing

Carlos C. Aguila is the founder of Aguila Law, admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014 (Bar No. 109634) and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Over more than a decade of practice — including five years running his own firm — he has focused on guardianship administration, special needs planning, estate planning, and probate for families throughout South Florida.

Carlos's commitment to guardianship and special needs law is personal. As the godfather and uncle of an autistic family member, he has lived the experience that his clients bring to his office — the stress of watching a loved one approach 18, the fear of losing legal authority to act on their behalf, and the pressure of navigating a system that wasn't designed with families in mind.

His wife Monica, a licensed speech pathologist, works alongside him at Aguila Law. Her years of clinical experience with children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, and other conditions affecting speech, language, and cognition give the practice an interdisciplinary perspective that is unusual among South Florida guardianship firms.

Together, Carlos and Monica believe that every individual — regardless of exceptionality — deserves both legal protection and preserved dignity.
